One of most popular new additions to the menu has been our Natas – short for pastel de natas meaning custard tart in Portuguese.
Unlike others in town, our natas are entirely home-made, from the puff pastry to the deliciously creamy, citrus-infused custard.
In our opinion, they’re the perfect treat to enjoy with a coffee, and, sat in our courtyard with the sun shining down, it almost feels like you could be in Portugal…
Next to come, a taste of Spain with our Santiago Tart – a Spanish twist on a bakewell tart made with ground almonds on top of a layer of sweet membrillo (quince paste). Delicioso!
