Husband and wife team, Chris and Sarah, run The Courtyard Deli with the support of a friendly and enthusiastic team of kitchen and front of house colleagues.
Chris is a Cordon Bleu trained chef, having completed his training at Tante Marie Cookery School in Woking. He has also worked at a number of restaurants in London, including for Phil Howard, owner of 2 Michelin Starred The Square. Chris’s early career was in the British Army.
Sarah has most recently worked at a senior level in Human Resources including for the Virgin Group and Wyevale Garden Centres. However her early career was in the catering industry, when she was involved in organising and delivering prestigious large-scale banquets at Buckingham Palace, London’s Guildhall and Livery Halls, as well as managing smaller, more intimate, events in people’s private homes.
Our team come from a variety of backgrounds and bring with them a broad array of experiences. What we all have in common though is our love of food and our desire to share that with other people.
